This film is an effort to remind people of the joy in little things and togetherness while using the old city of Ahmedabad as a catalyst to bring to light the unsaid yet huge idea of easy living by nurturing human relations. The characters in the film are of different age groups , gender and backgrounds that act as a metaphor to the conclusive and mixed bag that our country is, each having a journey and calling of their own, finally culminating to one. The tone and colours used are as natural as it is, symbolic to the easy going life of the city and its people, while subtly bringing out the authenticity and realism that is all around. The visuals and music are used as a tool to bring into light the warmth that lies in all human hearts, feeling like a shinning sun on a gloomy day, leaving everyone with a sense of peace and happiness from within, at the same time providing a taste of the cultural backdrop of Gujarat, that’ll make one feel closer to home, even if you’re away. Dabbo is a small seed, turning into a full blown flower, much like all our lives, in it’s own time and pace, bringing to screen everything that is deeply felt or thought of, via the power of cinema.
